Alu Triumph Eggbar

​The Alu Triumph Eggbar is an orthopaedic aluminium horseshoe that has all the features of the Alu Triumph horseshoe but provides extra support on the heel due to its distinctive egg bar shape. The horseshoe has a nice fit with the crease extending into the toe for a built-in grip. In addition, the shoe also has Radius quarter clips for nice positioning on the hoof. This clip placement between the second and third nail hole ensures optimal effect of the rolling on the toe and therefore improved locomotion for the horse.

This aluminium egg bar has distinctive Triumph features that give it the right fit to effectively treat horses experiencing pain in the back half of the hoof or having an injury to the heel or quarters. This egg bar provides the necessary protection and takes the pressure off the heels thanks to its larger bearing surface to distribute the pressure. The fit of the Alu Eggbar Triumph completely responds to this support. The precise placement of the nail holes with correct nail angles allows very precise shoeing. The crease extends into the toe and provides a built-in grip. The rolling on the toe provides additional movement comfort. In addition, the Radius clips are on the quarters (between nail holes two and three), which can optimise the horse's balance and locomotion - if necessary - by bringing the hoof slightly forward. The Radius clips run nicely along the horse's hoof and have sufficient material at the base to be re-forged if necessary without loss of quality.
