PREDICATE ROYAL

In 2008, on our centennial anniversary in 2006, Her Majesty Queen Beatrix of The Netherlands granted our company the predicate Royal.

Since then the name was changed to Royal Kerckhaert Horseshoe Factory and the Royal Crown was added to the company logo.

The predicate Royal is a distinction which symbolizes the respect, appreciation and trust of the Monarch toward the receiver.

The predicate Royal was granted to about 150 companies in the Netherlands. Each company was screened in advance by the local and national government.

After both authorities gave positive approval the predicate Royal was granted. Some of the criteria the company must meet are:

•             to have been in existence for at least 100 years

•             to be a leader in its field

•             to be of national importance

•             to be financially healthy

•             to have a clear company vision

The success of the Royal Kerckhaert Horseshoe Factory has been the result of many years of hard work by the different generations of the Kerckhaert family supported by friends, factory staff and a worldwide network of Kerckhaert dealers and professional farriers who choose Kerckhaert horseshoes above all others.

The Kerckhaert family are very honoured and grateful by this distinction.
