Ergonomically designed, the ShockBuster Flat Pad is the most effective & simple solution to 'sore feet', 'caudal hoof pain' & 'bruised heels' as well as other foot & limb conditions.

'How do they work?'

Unlike traditional shoes ShockBuster Hoof Pads & their innovative 'Caudal Zone' have been designed to provide the required support, but also relieve unwanted pressure to the heels. The unique deep & wide inline crest & groove pattern displaces on impact absorbing the maximum level shock.

'Natural Foot Flexion'

The flexible nature of the 'Caudal Zone' also works in harmony with horse's natural foot flexion providing extensive comfort & giving the 'barefoot' feel.

'Fast return to Full Soundness'

Natural foot flexion increases blood flow & improves hoof growth, which in turn will speed up recovery & lead to a faster return to full soundness.

Similar design pads the depth of the shoe recess is too shallow and causes horses to rock back and put even more strain on the back of the foot and limb. The ShockBuster have been designed to accommodate a shoe perfectly and are graded down in sizes in proportionally, making fitting easier.

Above is an example of the ShockBuster Flat Pad applied to a horse that previously presented with general 'Caudal Hoof Pain'. Following a number of other unsuccessful shoeing methods the horse is now pain free, 100% sound & back in full work with the help of the ShockBuster Flat Pad.

The ShockBuster Flat Pad can be applied with or without the 'Centre Zone'. To removed simply cut round the designated 'Cutting Groove' with a sharp knife to leave a 3mm thick rim pad between hoof wall & shoe. Dependent on your application, this will reduce weight & aid in traction when fitted.
