The natural way to cleanse the gut of sand and soil, helping to reduce the risk of impaction at the same time as promoting comfort and stability of the digestive system. Ideal for horses who are at increased risk of sand and soil ingestion.
Features and Benefits
Psyllium husk | Creates a bulk-forming, fibrous gel which will surround the sand and soil particles in the gut so that they can be safely transported through the digestive system without blockage. |
Why Psyllium husk? | The husk of the psyllium has been shown to be a lot more effective than the seed in removing sand from the gut. We never use psyllium seed which is a lot less effective. |
Live yeast | Helps to regulate the gut microbial flora and promote an optimal intestinal environment for digestive stability. |
Glutamine | Helping to soothe the digestive system, maintain a healthy mucosa and improve palatability. |
Magnesium | Prevents a deficiency of magnesium in the diet which can cause symptoms of nervousness and muscle tremors. Helps to regulate muscle contraction in the gut to ease the transport of these particles. Particularly useful for highly strung race horses. |
Feeding Rates
Horses: 150g per day
Ponies: 75g per day
Feed for five days, repeat this course every month
