The Liberty CU E-SLIM horseshoe nail allows you to nail higher and optimally protect the hoof wall during the entire shoeing cycle thanks to its copper coating. This nail is designed as a fit for V-crease horseshoes on riding horses. The smaller sizes of this model are also suitable for use with steel or aluminium race plates. This European standard-type copper-coated horseshoe nail has a longer and thinner shank, compared to the regular E nail. This makes it very easy to nail higher without damaging the hoof wall, especially if the hoof wall is thinner. The smaller sizes are also suitable for use in aluminium or steel race plates. The coating with CU Shield Technology protects the hoof wall during the entire shoeing cycle. The natural properties of copper ensure that the area around the horseshoe nail is free of bacteria and keeps the hoof wall stronger and healthier. In addition, the nail does not rust and does not wear off in the hoof wall.
