Full Swedge

This is the most widely used shoe for the Standardbred racing market. Used for both Trotters and Pacers. The Full Swedge is made of tough durable steel and works on both clay and limestone base race track surfaces. The rim of the shoe is designed to provide good traction.

Noticeable features include careful consideration of the nail placement, as well as support in the heels The clipped version of the Swedge shoe offers additional security for the shoeing cycle. The strong clip assists in preventing shoes from sliding back during a performance or while in the stall.
